Steve A. Hurtt
Mr. Hurtt received a degree of Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University in 1986. He is the principal of the Columbus Ohio office and has been a Registered Architect since 1991.

From 1985 to 1993, he worked for UMA Architecture, an architectural firm that specialized in rehabilitation of historic buildings, new construction and additions – both residential and commercial. Projects under his supervision included single-family homes in existing historic neighborhoods, multiple site housing and restructuring of warehouse space into luxury condominiums.

From 1993 to 1996, Mr. Hurtt was Vice President at Artemis Design & Construction, an architecture and construction firm. His responsibilities included architectural design work, production management and on-site supervision. Projects ranged from whole house renovation to additions and kitchen and bath remodeling.
Dean O. Berlon
Mr. Berlon graduated from The Ohio State University in 1987 with a BS in Architecture, cum laude. Part of his education included a summer program in England where he learned techniques of preservation of historic buildings through Oxford University. He is principal of the Kennett Square, Pennsylvania office and has been a Registered Architect since 1992.
 
From 1987 to 1991 he worked at George Parker & Associates, an Architecture and Development Company that specialized in purchasing land for planned developments, crafting review guidelines and designing homes.
 
From 1991 to 1997, Mr. Berlon worked at Stock & Stone Architects, an Architecture firm in Columbus. The firm specialized in highly detailed design of new homes, renovations and additions. Projects include a national competition winner for a cluster-housing site in New Albany, Ohio.
Steve A. Hurtt Mr. Hurtt spent over 10 years as the Chairperson for the Italian Village Commission, an historic design review of The Italian Village National District and is currently Chair of its Parks Redevelopment Committee. He was a founding member and past president of Camp Sunrise, a not-for-profit agency set up to provide a summer camp for HIV impacted children. He is currently President of the Board of the Short North Foundation.
Dean O. Berlon Mr. Berlon is past President of the Short North Business Association and past Chair of its Development Committee. He was involved in the Italian Village Society over the years as President, Chair of its Historic Preservation Committee and Editor of its Newsletter. He was appointed to the City of Columbus Advisory Panel for redevelopment of the Whittier Peninsula into a downtown park and is currently a judge for the annual Philadelphia Flower Show.
